Recently the airwaves have been filled with negative campaign ads making untrue and libelous statements about my administration and about me personally. While I have worked hard to run a clean, positive campaign, organizations such as the ‘Concerned Citizens of Angel Falls’ have not followed my lead. The CCAF claims to be a grass roots organization, yet they have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to create and broadcast their skewed message.

Now in the eleventh hour of the election, the Lone Stranger has endorsed my opponent, Melinda Crane. This comes as no surprise given their relationship. Mindy Marvel is the leader of Guardians, a group that the Lone Stranger himself founded, and it would be surprising if in fact he did not support her based on this fact alone. Unfortunately, like the Concerned Citizens of Angel Falls, the Lone Stranger is heavy on negative rhetoric and light on facts.

In his ad he states that the mayhem that ensued at the Tartarus Prison when Darkstar and Mindy Marvel fought could have been averted because I was not willing to wait a week for the facility to have its defenses completed. This is false.

The fact is that it was actually my opponent Melinda Doherty-Crane who had led the lobbying efforts for the rebuilding of this prison in Angel Falls instead of at another location favored by the Bureau of Prisons. The opening date was chosen not by me, but by Mrs. Crane and the Lone Stranger himself; as the platform from which she announced her candidacy for Mayor. If Tartarus was opened prematurely for political propaganda it was driven by Mrs. Crane’s ambitions and not mine. It was Melinda. Crane, not I who was looking for the photo-op that day. So when The Lone Stranger asks the very good question… Do you really want a mayor that will endanger people to fit a photo op in when it's convenient;” please remember that it was Melinda Crane who the cameras were all pointed at that day, not myself.
