Karma Chapter 4: Solitary

No matter how she shifted her position with her limited range of motion Ultrawoman could find no respite from her suffering. It had began as discomfort at first, then grown to pain, and pain had evolved into pure misery. She was bound to what might have been a not too uncomfortable bunk, but her bondage put her into a position where she could not lean forward more than inches before her chained collar stopped her short, nor lean back because of the tether between the collar’s front to her ankles. If she were to lay to either side she was likely to either be choked, or at the very least transfer all of the stress to her neck—and she knew that past the tipping point she lacked the leverage to right herself back to a vertical position. She longed for the respite of lying down, even for a few minutes, but this comfort was cruelly denied her.

The room’s temperature was erratic as well. For hours at a time it would be sweltering hot, then on no discernable schedule or pattern, the temperature would drop sharply subjecting her sweat covered body to winter cold conditions. This cycle was repeated over and over again, adding to the sleep deprived woman’s suffering.

How many hours, or even days had passed Ultrawoman could not say for certain. Her underground cell had no window and the harsh bright lights were never turned off.

Even more confusing and disorientating was that her captor had not shown herself since forcing Vyr-Na into the small room and abandoning her to her travails.
